Story: Raised as pup among the reservation of Blackfeet Native Americans in Montana, Shadow was trained as a hunting dog to aid the Native American tribe in their Elk population regulation. While on a hunt, Shadow was seperated from his 'pack' of humans. Following the scent as best as he could, he realized he was too late, discovering that much of his family was killed by a Grizzly ambush in the middle of the night. Shadow, who was also supposed to sense an oncoming Bear, was not present to warn the Native Americans. Troubled by his past and loss of his family, Shadow exiled himself into the Amethyst Mountain region where he met another lone Wolf named Skylier, who is now his mate. Shadow hunts every Bear he sees, hoping one day to find the one that killed his family.
